GBBLive wants the playoffs to start right now! That's how hot the show is right now, and we rolled right along in our latest episode! Listen to the show via this link or in the player below. Also subscribe to the podcast on ITunes and never miss another episode!
The first segment of the program featured newly minted "Super Contributor" for SB Nation and Managing Editor of Grizzly Bear Blues Chris Faulkner joining myself and Producer Chip Williams to discuss all things "Grizzly Bear News". The Western Conference standings and the confusing play of the Memphis Grizzlies as of late were both discussed, among other things.
Then, Shane Young of HoopsHabit made his first appearance on our BlogTalkRadio airwaves to discuss what realistic expectations are for the Bears of Beale Street. We also covered who Memphis matches up with well and what may happen with Marc Gasol if the Grizzlies get beat in the first round (yuck).
Finally, "friend of the show" Peter Edmiston of Sports56 WHBQ Memphis' "First Call" and contributor to Memphis' Commercial-Appeal returned to the program and did a GREAT job detailing what makes St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee so special (sign up for www.audibletrial.com/grizzlybearblues to get yourself a great audio book deal and help us here at GBBLive support St. Jude) as well as Tony Allen's importance, Memphis' biggest strengths and weakness, and what the Grizzlies' last four games may look like.
This and a ton more in this all-new episode of GBBLive! Follow us on Twitter @GBBLive, sign up for our BlogTalkRadio page and subscribe to the podcast on ITunes so you never miss another show. Next week, April 16th, our GBBLive playoff preview will feature Chris Herrington of the Memphis Commercial Appeal and Geoff Calkins of the Commercial Appeal and 92.9 FM ESPN Memphis' "Geoff Calkins Show."
Until then, Grind Forth Grizz Nation this is Grizzly Bear Blues Live! Thanks for listening.
