Grizzlies vs. Blazers, 2015 NBA playoffs: Time, TV schedule, radio and live stream for Game 3

Can Memphis run away with their first round matchup?

Jaime Valdez-USA TODAY Sports

If you're a Memphis Grizzlies fan, you seen a pretty stark turnaround in the past ten days of April. Moans and groans have now transformed into cheers and woots as a season team flips their postseason switch and imposes their will on the Portland Trail Blazers.

Many of us, including myself, wondered if the Grizzlies were going to have enough time to find the urgency necessary to play at their best during the playoffs. After two games, it appears as though much of Grizz Nation needlessly lost sleep over the 2-month-ish slump that Memphis dragged them through. The playoff mentality is present and pronounced. And while they are hobbled here and there, the Grizzlies seem healthy enough to at least make it out of the first round.

But they'll have to fight through the raucous hive of the Moda Center if they want to garner as much rest as their potential 2nd round opponent will have*. It's unlikely that Portland will continue to shoot 30% from three, and the Grizzlies won't be able to plod through 48 minutes of basketball while maintaining a double-digit lead for 40 of those minutes when Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum finally starting draining shots.

The Grizzlies will have to do something special to finish the series before playing another game in Memphis, but it wouldn't be the first time they've surprised me this month.

*I'm assuming that Golden State will sweep New Orleans before the Grizzlies/Blazers even tipoff on Saturday.
