It's Christmas in July, y'all. We already have Memphis Grizzlies basketball to watch again! Those are you who were with us last year will remember that I refer to this team as the Semi-Bears, or at least I think I did. Even if I didn't before, I am now.
The Semi-Bears will suit up against the Brooklyn Nets (I would say Semi-Nets, but we all know the real team isn't that much better) at 4PM CT today, and you can watch the game in its entirety online for free today.
Here's a reminder of who we'll be watching this year. The obvious highlights are the Grizzlies own Jordan Adams, Jarnell Stokes, Russ Smith and JaMychal Green ... and Andrew Harrison if you're counting him at this point.
We've also got Okaro White returning from last year, who at 6'9" 180 lbs might be the skinniest person in Summer League. Seriously, he's the same height as Jarnell Stokes who carries an extra 83 pounds of organic steel on his frame.
Other highlights include a guy named Philip Scrubb and a 30-year-old rookie named Darnel Lazare. It's going to be a fun time, come join us later in the GameThread.
