The Memphis Grizzlies have released their 2015 NBA Preseason schedule and there's plenty of action to look forward to in early October both at FedexForum and on the road.

  1. We've got the preseason tipoff against the division rival Houston Rockets in a game during which Dwight Howard is sure to fake an injury to get the night off from Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph.
  2. We've got the annual Maccabi Haifa game at FedexForum in which you can sit really, really close for under $100.
  3. We've got Mike Conley returning to the Ohio State arena to face LeBron and the Cavaliers! It'll be really cool to see how Mike's alumni welcome him back.
  4. We'll get to see how far Kevin Durant has come along from his injury and how irritating Russell Westbrook can manage to be in preseason form.
  5. We'll get to see #1 overall pick Karl Anthony-Towns match up against Marc Gasol in addition to a swath of other young, exciting talent.

  • And then the Grizzlies finish out the preseason in games at Atlanta and Orlando where people will know it's going to be excruciating to watch but will watch anyway and complain about how long the preseason is. #ShortenIt

Overall, I'm very pleased with this preseason schedule although I will say that it's going to be a long wait from October 18th until October 30th or 31st to see the Grizzlies play at the Grindhouse.

What do you all think?
