What To Watch For
- The biggest news for the up-and-down Grizzlies is the benching of Jeff Green in Tuesday's loss to the Rockets. The Grizzlies are already shorthanded so it'll be interesting to see what Dave Joerger does with JG this time around. Green's reaction will also be of interest. If he plays lackadaisically and looks disinterested once again, we could see another short leash for Uncle Jeff, especially with Matt Barnes back in the mix tonight.
- Marc Gasol has not put together a complete game in 2016. It's been weird. Over the Grizzlies last 6 games, Marc is averaging 10 points in their 3 wins and 16 points in their losses. That seems completely backwards. Maybe things will pick back up for #33 when Mike Conley returns...
- I'm not holding my breath for Mike Conley to return. He's still listed as questionable, and the Grizzlies have seen what happens to Mike when he only heals halfway through nagging injuries. Mario Chalmers is playing well and more than capable of playing 40+ minutes for a stretch of games.
Update: Conley is downgraded to doubtful.
