The Chip Williams Podcast with Kevin Hughes

Kevin Hughes returns to talk Star Wars, Making a Murderer, Bama vs. Clemson, NFL Playoffs and Kobe.

Mark D. Smith-USA TODAY Sports

Friday. Podcast. Back.

Kevin Hughes of returns for his regular Friday podcast, and we talked about a whole bunch of stuff from football to Star Wars to Kobe.

We started off by talking college football bowl games and what the early returns were on the Playoff Semi-Finals match-ups being played on New Years Eve.

We discussed the Alabama-Clemson National Championship game (lay the seven, I think).

The NFL Playoffs Wild Card Round is this weekend, so we talked about picking the games against the spread which led to a larger-scale conversation about why each of us is seemingly losing interest in NFL.

We then moved on to talking about the new Star Wars movie, of which I'm not a huge fan. But Kevin explained why I need to go see it a second time to really appreciate it.

Making a Murderer has swept the nation, so Kevin took on the task of watching the show with his girlfriend. He talked about the challenges of not being able to binge-watch the whole thing. This also led to a discussion about how Courtney Love absolutely killed Kurt Cobain.

Finally, we talked about Kobe leading the all-star game in voting, and whether or not people should actually be upset about that.

Big thanks to Fan Essentials for being the presenting sponsor of the podcast.
