The injury bug continues to riddle the Memphis Grizzlies, so here we go again... Marc Gasol is dealing with another foot injury. According to a report from Ron Tillery of the Memphis Commercial Appeal, Gasol bruised a bone in his surgically repaired foot that caused him to miss most of the 2015-16 season.

Memphis fans can breathe a sigh of relief, though. The good news is the MRI that was performed on Gasol’s foot shows no signs of anything serious. Although it is in the same foot that has caused Gasol problems, it is not the bone that forced surgery last season.
It’s safe to say that Gasol should not see the court again until the regular season.
Gasol talked to Tillery about the injury. He appeared to be in good spirits, and is not nearly as concerned about his foot as the rest of Memphis is. Check out the video below:
