Grizzlies vs. Knicks GameThread

The Grizzlies hope to take a bite out of the Big Apple tonight as they battle the New York Knicks

Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

The Memphis Grizzlies, fresh off their big opening night win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, are in New York tonight for their first road test of the season against the Knicks. New York looks pretty different this season- Courtney Lee, Derrick Rose, and Joakim Noah are all now starters alongside holdovers from last year Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis, and new head coach Jeff Hornacek has this team hoping to improve upon where the Derek Fisher Era took them.

The Grizzlies remain without Tony Allen, Chandler Parsons, and Brandan Wright for this game while using the same starting lineup from the opener- Mike Conley, Andrew Harrison, James Ennis, JaMychal Green, Marc Gasol. Without three key rotation players yet again, the Grizzlies will depend even more on Zach Randolph, very early Sixth Man of the Year favorite (at least in Memphis), to provide a real spark off the bench.
