Grizz vs. Wolves III GameThread

Wait...haven't we done this already?

Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

No, it isn't deja vu.

The Memphis Grizzlies really are just playing the Minnesota Timberwolves again.

For the third time in 13 regular season games, and for the second time at FedExForum in Memphis, the Grizzlies are playing Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, Zach LaVine and the young bull Wolves. The good news is that Marc Gasol, Mike Conley, Tony Allen, Chandler Parsons, Zach Randolph, and Vince Carter all played less than 30 minutes last night, so the Grizzlies likely do not need to sit anyone out on this second night of a back to back. Minnesota is not very good on the road, but considering this time yesterday Memphis was in Dallas, this is essentially a road-home game for the Grizzlies. How they are able to respond to the travel and lack of rest will play a role in tonight's outcome.
