MEMPHIS — The injury bug continues to haunt Chandler Parsons as he is set to miss more time for the Memphis Grizzlies.
The good news is that the injury is not the same knee that was previously surgically repaired. He is currently listed as out for tomorrow's contest vs. Charlotte. He will be re-evaluated in 2 weeks and an update will be provided at that time.
The team also released an update on Brandan Wright and Tony Allen.
Wright has begun his rehabilitation process following his arthroscopic ankle surgery that took place on Nov. 14. According to the team, the big man is progressing well, which is also good news. However, there is currently no timetable for his return to play. The 6-10, 230-pound forward/center has been sidelined for the Grizzlies all of the team’s regular season games this season. The last game Wright appeared in was back on Oct. 6 during the preseason against the Atlanta Hawks.
Allen suffered a mild re-aggravation of his right groin during last night’s game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The shooting guard originally injured his groin back on Nov. 7. Right now, he is currently listed as questionable for tomorrow's game versus Charlotte. The Grizzlies have him listed as day to day.
