If you're a fan of point guard play, tonight's game is definitely for you.
The Memphis Grizzlies take on the Charlotte Hornets in North Carolina, but the game within the game, the individual match-up between Mike Conley and Kemba Walker, will be just the latest test for Conley early in the season. Mike has already had to play against Chris Paul twice, Damian Lillard, Derrick Rose, Giannis Antetokuonmpo, and John Wall. Now, Walker bring yet another unique challenge.
Walker is having a career year, and he is doing it through efficient scoring. He is shooting almost 7% better than his career average overall from the floor, and almost 10% better from beyond the arc. This leads to him averaging almost eight points more than his career average.
Conley will again have his hands full, but so far this season "Captain Clutch" has been up to the challenge. If that trend continues, the Grizzlies will be riding a five-game winning streak as they leave Charlotte.
