Remember last season, Memphis Grizzlies fans?
The 28 different players donning Beale Street blue, the 3-18 record over the last 21 games including the playoffs, the turmoil of knowing that Jordan Farmar started for the professional basketball team you follow and you don't live in Europe?
This isn't that...but it is also not ideal.
The Memphis Grizzlies have six players out tonight against the Toronto Raptors- five due to injury (Mike Conley, Vince Carter, James Ennis, Chandler Parsons, and Brandan Wright) and one for personal reasons (Zach Randolph, who is mourning the death of his mother.) That leaves them with nice able bodies ready to play, and considering this is the first game of a back to back, in a perfect world this would be a great game to get some guys some rest (Marc Gasol).
About that...probably not possible now.

Thanks as always to numberFire for tonight's GameThread Game Preview. Go Memphis, (try your best to) beat Toronto!
