Grizz vs. Warriors GameThread

The Warriors get all the good breaks, and Memphis the bad ones. Will it matter tonight?

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

The Memphis Grizzlies have been on the end of some bad breaks.

Health issues are the leading culprit of Memphis' good run of bad luck. It is possible we never know this season what a fully healthy 2016-2017 Grizzlies roster could have been, and it is only the second week of December. That is sad to think about.

Meanwhile, the Golden State Warriors have the opposite going on for them.

A very friendly team contract for Stephen Curry due to his ankle concerns, hitting a home run in second round pick Draymond Green, all of which led to their ability to sign Kevin Durant this off-season. At worst, Golden State certainly has three of the best 20 players in the NBA...perhaps four, counting the debatable entry of Klay Thompson. When you include Thompson in that count? No other NBA team, not even the defending champion Cavaliers, can claim that.

Some guys have all the luck.
