The Memphis Grizzlies will get James Ennis back sooner rather than later, which is good news for the Memphis faithful.
According to ESPN NBA Reporter Chris Haynes, Ennis is expected to return early next week after dealing with a calf injury that sidelined him for three weeks. The small forward returned to practice today, according to Haynes.

The Grizzlies are currently on a four game winning streak even though they are down on multiple bodies. The return of Ennis will help bolster the bench as he gets back in to game shape. Haynes goes on to report Ennis may return sooner, but it is unlikely we see him back on the floor until next week.
There's a slight chance Ennis could return on Friday against Sacramento, but the more likely scenario is an activation for early next week.— Chris Haynes (@ChrisBHaynes) December 13, 2016
For the past couple of weeks, it has been a “next man up” scenario for Memphis. In Ennis’ absence, several players — Troy Williams and Troy Daniels — have stepped up to fill the void at small forward.
Although Memphis is still missing Chandler Parsons, the return of Ennis will provide another option on the wing for head coach David Fizdale.
