In the first quarter, the Grizzlies took an early advantage after Marc Gasol fired his first three pointer of the night. The Grizzlies went on a 19-7 run including a highlight putback jam from JayMychal Green.

The Cavs fought back, with J.R. Smith, Mike Dunleavy, and James Jones putting forth an effort to slow down the Grizz.

In the end it was Marc Gasol with a double-double 17 points and 11 boards along with 3 three pointers to give the Grizzlies an 93-85 win.
