Marc Gasol tied his career high with 38 points to lead the Grizzlies to a 98-86 win.
This is the Grizzlies’ first meeting with Detroit and the last time they play at the Palace of Auburn Hills this season.
The win tonight breaks the Grizzlies three game losing streak.
Early in the first quarter, the Pistons had the ball and Tony Allen came up with a steal. The steal led to a JaMychal Green jumper and the Grizzlies jumped out to an early lead.

The Pistons would fight back in the second quarter. Kentavious Caldwell Pope led the charge for the Pistons and made a few three pointers. The Grizzlies would turn it around before the half with Gasol shooting 2-3 from deep.
From the third quarter to the end the Grizzlies couldn’t stay away from fouls leading to multiple free throws for the Pistons.
Troy Daniels and Marc Gasol closed out the Pistons, helping the Grizz get the win.
