David Fizdale, Tubby Smith Gather for a "Meeting of the Minds"

Memphis' two new head coaches shared a few moments to get a little more familiar with each other.

David Fizdale isn't the only new head coach in the Bluff City. After Josh Pastner's abrupt departure for Georgia Tech, the University of Memphis brought in former Kentucky head coach Tubby Smith to lead the Tigers.

This afternoon, the two got together to get a little more familiar with each other and for a few quick photos. The Memphis men's basketball Twitter account tweeted out a few photos of the coaches talking.

There wasn't any announcement from the teams, so it's likely this was nothing more than two coaches getting together for a quick chat about things like basketball strategy, life, or whether or not a hotdog is a sandwich.

Still, it's really cool to see the two newest faces - and the newest leaders of Memphis' beloved basketball teams - together, and hopefully we'll see them together plenty more in the near future!

Oh, Grizzlies' General Manager Chris Wallace was there, too.
