Grizzlies vs. Thunder GameThread

David Fizdale has the Grizzlies believing. But can it last through the marquee match-ups?

Nelson Chenault-USA TODAY Sports

The Memphis Grizzlies are currently undefeated in their division.

The Memphis Grizzlies currently are only two or so games away from the four seed in the competitive Western Conference.

And cannot shake the feeling of uncertainty around this team.

For every epic Warriors comeback, there is a clunker loss to the lowly Lakers. For every showdown victory against the Jazz? A back tumble against the bad Orlando Magic. The Grizzlies have another nationally televised game tonight, against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Then they have the Houston Rockets, a divisional foe who will definitely be worth getting up for. From there? The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Game against the Chicago Bulls in Memphis, another national affair. These next games won't be hard to get up for.

But what about the Wizards next Wednesday? Or Sacramento the night after that? The key for these Grizzlies is to find a way to get up for every game- not just the ones where the lights are on brightest.
