The Grizzlies with a major comeback in the 2nd half and beat the Rockets 110-105.

In the first quarter, Conley fired the first three pointer of the game. From there James Harden and Trevor Ariza took over the game. Harden came up with two threes in the first half.

Gasol was more of a distributor in the first half with three assists. He did pound the post and scored 7 points in the first half. Randolph’s lob to Green was the highlight play of the half for the Grizzlies.

Mike Conley kept going to the rim but still contributed from range with one three pointer in the half. JaMychal Green was 3-3 with 8 points headed to the third quarter.

Allen showed his offensive prowess also, taking it to the rim with 8 points in the first half along with Ennis’ 7 points

Ryan Anderson with two fouls in the first quarter still managed to score 9 points in the first half.

Sam Dekker was 2-3 from deep with 7 points in the first half.

The Rockets led the Grizzlies 64-51 at the end of the 2nd Quarter.

In the 2nd half Allen took over the game with his highlight dunk. In the fourth quarter, he fouled out and it was up to Conley and Ennis to finish off the game while guarding Harden.

Troy Daniels closed out the contest with 3 three pointers in the game.

The Rockets would come close with Gordon, Anderson and Harrell scoring at will. However, Conley and Randolph finished off the Rockets with the final score of 110-105.

Tony Allen was a force tonight, scoring 22 points. He also came away with 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal.

Mike Conley scored well tonight with 17 points and a near double-double with 9 assists. He also grabbed 6 rebounds.

Zach Randolph came away with a double double scoring 16 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. He also tallied 2 assists.

Marc Gasol got his three point stroke back. He scored 14 points with 6 rebounds and 6 assists.

Troy Daniels has become the closer for the Grizzlies in the last stretch of games. He scored 13 points with 1 assist and 3 rebounds.

The Grizzlies will face the Chicago Bulls for the MLK Game on Sunday January 15 at FedExForum.
