Memphis? Overlooked? So what else is new?

You see it here at GBB in our comments section (shout out Doof) and elsewhere. You read about on ESPN.com and hear it on SportsCenter.

No, it isn't about tonight's match-up of the Memphis Grizzlies and the Golden State Warriors. It's about the game TOMORROW night, as the Warriors head to Oklahoma City to take on the Westbrooks Thunder.

"KD returns to OKC in a star-studded prime time game on ABC Saturday night!"

Uh...Golden State plays tonight, too, ESPN. No Grizzlies love?

Memphis being overlooked is nothing new. The small market/no true "star" thing surely hurts the sex appeal of the Grizzlies. But it is Memphis who has a chance to go 3-0 vs. Golden State with a win tonight. Memphis has won six of their last seven games, just like Golden State.

So national love? Keep it. Look ahead to Saturday night prime time at your own risk. Because while Memphis may not be better than Golden State in a seven game series, on any given night the Grizzlies can knock off the Warriors. They've proven it already this season.

Twice.
