The Spurs jumped out to a quick start and built a 15-point lead in the second quarter, which they held until deep in the fourth. It was Brandan Wright and the Grizzlies’ bench who spurred (sorry not sorry) the comeback, despite Wright not seeing any action until the start of the fourth quarter.

But the Grizzlies didn’t have enough firepower to overcome the Spurs’ run-stopping offense, shooting a paltry 43% on the night. San Antonio scored 12 of the last 13 points to seal the win.
Mike Conley led the Grizz with 22 points and 6 assists, and Gasol added 13 more. No other Grizzly cracked double digits.
