Wallace, Conley and Baldwin: Much to discuss as the offseason continues

Some much-needed reading and listening to peruse

NBA: Playoffs-San Antonio Spurs at Memphis Grizzlies Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

The Memphis Grizzlies are heading into an off-season with plenty of unknowns. They have some big decisions to make, including what to do with Zach Randolph and Tony Allen and some other pieces of the jigsaw that need to be moved to ensure their seven year playoff run continues and then some next season.

The Commercial Appeal's Geoff Calkins takes a look at whether Chris Wallace is the right man to make these decisions. He takes a look at all of the mistakes along with all of the good decisions Wallace has made during his tenure as the team's GM.

Meanwhile, the Grizzlies don't have any picks in this year's draft but they had one last year in Wade Baldwin IV, a player who Jonathan Tjarks said “is an elite athlete with preposterous physical dimensions” prior to last year’s draft. 16 Wins a Ring has Baldwin as one of four rookies looking to bounce back after poor first seasons in the league.

Zach Lowe has Mike Conley on his most recent podcast where they spoke about everything from Conley never getting a technical and whether or not he will ever get one, the Chandler Parsons situation and what he and Marc Gasol get up to on the way to and from games during the season as airplane buddies.
