Hustle Hard: Grizzlies Announce Name of Their D-League Team

The Memphis Grizzlies announce their new D-League team name and logo

The Memphis Grizzlies announced the name of their D-League on Thursday and, as always, the organization's branding is on point. Zach Lowe ranked his NBA logos and the Grizzlies came in at number five but the Memphis Hustle is about as slick as anything we have in the NBA as far as aesthetics go.

On their website’s FAQ page and in their press release, the Grizzlies explain that the Hustle will play in the D-League that runs from November through to April. They will also "have a permanent and dedicated locker room and basketball operations office at FedExForum in Memphis. They will share the Built Ford Tough Training Facility with the Grizzlies along with the weight room and other training amenities."

Head Coach Glenn Cyprien will lead the Hustle, according to the official statement the club released.

They have created some very cool videos and you can follow them over here on Twitter.

They will also have plenty more gear soon.
