Evans was one rebound shy from a triple double

NBA: Los Angeles Lakers at Memphis Grizzlies Justin Ford-USA TODAY Sports

In a convincing win, the Grizzlies had an offensive explosion during their MLK day game against the Lakers. Memphis played without Mike Conley and Chandler Parsons while the Lakers were without Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball.

Time for some grades/

Tyreke Evans: A

15 points, 12 assists, 9 rebounds in 35 minutes (0)

Evans was scoreless the first half but kept everybody in the team involved. He improved his scoring numbers in the second half with his usual rim attacks. He was one rebound shy of a triple-double.

Deyonta Davis: A

10 points, 5 rebounds, 5 blocks in 13 minutes (+6)

It was Davis's block party last night. He made his presence known during his minutes on the floor. Not only he had a series of monster blocks but also contributed offensively finishing at the rim.

James Ennis III and Jarell Martin: B+

Ennis: 13 points, 3 rebounds in 21 minutes (+20)

Martin: 10 points, 3 rebounds in 20 minutes (+11)

Ennis and Martin, together with Davis, led the Grizzlies' run during the third quarter and increased the difference to 20 points. They brought energy to both ends of the floor and finalized fast breaks and were sharp from distance.

Marc Gasol: B

17 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists in 34 minutes (+6)

Gasol had a good all-around game. He did his part on both sides of the floor and scored when his team needed it the most.

Wayne Selden: B

13 points in 13 minutes (+3)

Selden has the ability to produce offensively in limited minutes. He had a decent performance last night and continues to prove that he deserves consistent minutes in this team.

JaMychal Green: B

11 points, 9 rebounds in 27 minutes (-2)

It was a quiet game for Green who still managed to get his numbers. He had some problems keeping Julius Randle off the glass. The Lakers had too many offensive rebounds and the Grizzlies power forward should prevent that from happening.

Dillon Brooks: B

19 points, 4 rebounds in 26 minutes (-11)

Brooks scored 10 points in the first quarter shooting 4 of 4 from the floor. He finished with 19 points and 4 for 5 from distance. He struggled defensively against Caldwell-Pope who had a game-high 27 points and put him in foul trouble.

Andrew Harrison: C+

8 points, 3 assists in 26 minutes (+3)

Harrison continues to play with poise for Coach Bickerstaff. He is a much more solid player and better decision maker nowadays.

Mario Chalmers: C

7 points, 1 assist in 19 minutes (+12)

Chalmers was 1-8 from the floor and had only one assist. Despite those numbers, he was however part of the lineup that built a significant lead during the third quarter.

MLK Memphis uniforms: A+

As part of the commemoration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, the Grizzlies wore new uniforms. And they looked amazing! The design was clean, simple and modern. The black and white scheme, the typography and the underline were inspired by the 'I Am A Man' signs used during the protests in 1968 in Memphis. You could also see an 'M' (of man and Memphis) on the shorts. The final result was fantastic. Hope they can wear it some more times this season!
