The “Core Four”: Episode 18

Nathan Chester and Parker Fleming return to talk about some of the biggest news in Memphis sports.

NBA: Dallas Mavericks at Memphis Grizzlies Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY Sports

We’re back!

After a short one week break, Parker and I return (in person this time!) to go over some of the big news that has been happening in Memphis sports recently. Specifically, we discussed how many gallons of Kentucky tears that we have drank over the last day.

This week, we discussed:

  • James Wiseman, the number one player in the class of 2019, has committed to Memphis! What immediate and long-term ramifications are there for both the Memphis Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats? Will more touted recruits follow Wisemen to Memphis?
  • Marc Gasol’s return to dominance this season. What has changed to make him appear rejuvenated on the court?
  • Who will be the best rookie of the 2018 draft class? Jaren Jackson Jr. or Luka Doncic?
  • Is the Memphis Grizzlies’ current run of success sustainable?

As usual, we appreciate everyone who listens to the show and reads our content. Be sure to follow us on twitter @PAKA_FLOCKA and @BigNateChester.
