View from the enemy: Memphis vs Chicago

“Gasol almost looked like he missed that one intentionally.”

View from the Enemy

Memphis lost its nineteenth game in a row against Chicago last night. The game went down to the wire and was decided in the last seconds.

The view from the enemy is built according to various Twitter sources, Chicago Bulls SB Nation Blog a Bull GameThread and Chicago Bulls RealGM forum.

Before the game

The Grizzlies, who are tied for the worst record in the NBA right now, have zero incentive to win tonight.

Right now, the Grizzlies are a bunch of players that you’ve probably never heard of playing a game that may or may not resemble NBA basketball.

Gonna be very, very hard to lose this one.

The Grizzlies have to win again at some point this season.

Hopefully Chandler Parsons goes off on us. Highly unlikely though.

During the game

The Bulls clearly look like the worse of the two teams in the early going. But if Memphis keeps passing up layups to kick it out for 3-pt fga, I fully expect the Grizzlies to “catch” them. This could be an all-time tank classic.

Man, has Chandler Parsons career gone to hell or what.

Some of the worst basketball I’ve ever seen.

I would favor the 1972-73 nine-win 76ers over either team. This looks like a rec league game. Adam Silver should be embarrassed.

How many driving, in-the-paint airballs have the Grizzlies thrown up?

Tyreke, you’re not even going to be a part of the future here. What are you doing?

A 2nd year Dillon Brooks, Tyreke Evans, healthy Gasol and Conley, and the no. 1 pick in the draft. The Grizzlies could turn it around next year. Not contenders but possibly playoffs. Also is Chandler Parsons done?

Geez what the heck is with all these 3s.

Reke, what are you doing?!

Gasol almost looked like he missed that one intentionally.

I was all for trading Jimmy and rebuilding. But if Bulls get some no impact guy at 10 and sign Lavine to a dumb deal then they should have just kept Jimmy.

Bulls will be drafting 10th when it’s all said and done!

We can’t even lose a lose-able game.
