View from the Enemy: Memphis at Charlotte

“No one can enjoy being blown out by 50.....even for the tank.”

View from the Enemy

The Grizzlies suffered an embarrassing loss by 61 points in Charlotte in one of the worst performances I can ever remember on a basketball court. The view from the enemy is built according to various Twitter sources, Charlotte Hornets SB Nation Blog At the hive GameThread and Charlotte Hornets RealGM forum.

Before the game

On October 30th, 2017, the Charlotte Hornets defeated the Memphis Grizzlies, 104-99, who, at the time, led the Western Conference.

The Grizzlies have managed just 14 wins since starting 5-1, and recently snapped a 19 game losing streak. They currently sit tied at the bottom of the Western Conference.

Tyreke Evans was held out last night to rest, so it can be assumed he will play tonight.

Gasol is listed out for rest. Memphis should be fined, IMO!

No Dwight Howard tonight.

During the game

Who’s ready for some heavy Willy Hernangomez on Deyonta Davis?

Memphis is not good, really tanking. I don’t think I have seen a team not want to be on the court this much in a long time.

a bunch of gleague players playing like gleague players.

They’re about to add a stud in this draft though. Conley-rookie-Gasol….they could win a lot of games.

Oh yeah for sure...and Tyreke can ball too.

Just hard to believe how quickly a team that played annually grueling defense even last year can look so different.

kemba 35 half points!

I knew the Grizzlies were bad before this game, but my goodness. This must be what Adam Silver was talking about when he wants to bring an end to tanking.

Somehow I feel like Grizzlies fans are laughing at us even though we are up by 50.

No one can enjoy being blown out by 50.....even for the tank.

we blew the worst team, whopping 61 POINTS margin.
