We have had a lot of coverage about the inaugural NBA 2K League that starts off at the end of this week. They started with hundreds of thousands of gamers and whittled that down to just 17 teams with 6 players each. The season starts off with “THE TIPOFF”, the first tournament of the year, and it officially begin the 15 week season of tournaments and weekly games.
This tournament will consist of pool play on May 1-4, with the top eight teams advancing to the playoff rounds on May 5. This is a chance for Grizz Gaming, the team powered by the Memphis Grizzlies, and its players to take home some real cash, with first place taking home $35K, second place taking home $25K, and third/fourth taking home $10K! This is the first of three tournaments that will be played throughout the season.
