Earlier today the Memphis Hustle announced their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2018-2019 season. The Hustle will tip off their second season in the G-League when they travel to visit the Rio Grande Valley Vipers on Saturday November 3rd. The Hustle will have their home opener on Friday November 9th against the same Vipers team they start the season against.
The Hustle will look to improve upon their inaugural season that saw the team go 21-29. The Hustle will have a new look next year as Coach Glynn Cyprien left this summer to join Chris Beard’s staff at Texas Tech. The Hustle announced last week they have hired Brad Jones to be the teams new coach going into their second season. Jones was most recently the General Manager of the Iowa Wolves.
The team will play 24 home games, with 26 games away from the Landers Center. It does not appear that the Hustle will play a game at FedExForum like they did in their inaugural season. The Hustle will host their second annual Financial Literacy Education Day game on January 30th. Single game tickets will go on sale later this fall.
Go ahead and mark your calendars to head on down to Southaven to check out your young Grizzlies like Kobi Simmons and Yuta Watanabe!
