A flashback to the past for the Memphis Grizzlies is upon us on Saturday night, as the team announced Monday afternoon that the Grizzlies will wearing the ‘Vancouver’ throwback uniforms.

This comes after the Grizzlies announced this offseason that the team would be paying homage to their time in Vancouver over the next two seasons.
“The opportunity to connect the history of our franchise over two consecutive seasons deserved a special approach,” Grizzlies Team President Jason Wexler said in the Grizzlies press release back in August.
The celebration of 20 seasons in Memphis will begin this season with the Vancouver uniforms.
A great opportunity for the Grizzlies to throw it back while also showing off their bright future on Saturday night. The Grizzlies will wear these uniforms 10 times this season, and Saturday seems like the perfect time to break them in.

The ‘Vancouver’ Grizzlies take on LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and the Los Angeles Lakers at FedEx Forum this Saturday night in Memphis at 7:00 P.M. Central time.
