Core 4 Podcast: Early Summer League Talk

This is a Brandon Clarke podcast.

NBA: NBA Draft Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

It’s Summer League!

It’s so glorious to watch NBA basketball again, even though it could look like an intramural game at times. The Memphis Grizzlies are back, and it means a first glance at Taylor Jenkins’ system, the newest players, and some potential surprises. In addition, it’s a chance to see if incumbent players such as Ivan Rabb, Bruno Caboclo, or Yuta Watanabe have made strides in their games.

So far, the Grizzlies are 3-0, and that’s super cool. I’m totally ready to hang a Summer League championship banner up in the rafters of the FedEx Forum next to the jerseys of the “Core 4.”

Anyways, Grizzly Bear Blues Senior Staff Writer Brandon Abraham joins me to talk about the Memphis Grizzlies in this Summer League. More particularly...

- Grayson Allen and his fit

- Brandon Clarke and his ceiling

- The two-way players (Yuta Watanabe and John Konchar)

- Whether or not Ivan Rabb or Bruno Caboclo will make the team.
