The Memphis Grizzlies were able to overcome an ankle injury to superstar Ja Morant to put away the Brooklyn Nets in overtime. The Nets, playing without their two superstars, Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving fell behind early, but were able to claw their way back and make it a game.

Now, the Memphis Grizzlies entire fan base is holding its collective breath as we await news on Ja’s injury.

The view from the enemy is built according to various Twitter sources, Brooklyn Nets SB Nation blog Nets Daily Game Thread, and Brooklyn Nets RealGM forum.

Here’s what Nets fans had to say.

Before the Game

Our depth is going to be put to the test....Can’t look back. Guys need to step up. The loss of Spencer is a deep cut, I am still optimist this team will not disappoint us.

Tonight should reveal how deep the Nets really are.

During the Game

I am a better NBA player than Taurean Prince this guy should never see a minute of playing time. Not even in garbage time.

This has blowout written all over it. Memphis is getting good shots every time down. We’re not getting anything.

And we’re back in it. Effort on the defensive end is starting to pay off.

We letting brooks look like kyrie irving.

Gotta draw up a better play than a LeVert ISO to end the game considering how inefficient he’s been tonight.

I’ve seen more organized ball at Rucker.

Some really bad possessions here in OT

Following Ja’s Injury

Losing Morant in game has to be super demoralizing not to mention he is not replaceable

I really hope Ja is okay. That’s my favorite young guard in the league.

After the Game

Good game. No hard feelings. Get well soon Spencer.

We will need to stagger KD and Kyrie on back to backs. This team looks like last year’s bubble team without either one of them on the floor
