Core 4 Podcast: Road trip blues

Well, that road trip sucked.

This road trip wasn’t good, and that’s an understatement.

The Memphis Grizzlies lost all 4 games, while losing Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke due to injury. On top of that, they are without Justise Winslow — a big playmaker that can play and defend all 5 positions, while spacing the floor more than most players on this team — and Grayson Allen, one of the team’s better volume 3-point shooters.

So now, the Grizzlies are using their two-way players, Yuta Watanabe and John Konchar, for depth, and the result isn’t pretty.

It’s whatever though.

GBB Senior Staff Writer, my-cohost Nathan Chester and I discussed:

  • The Grizzlies’ loss to the Rockets
  • Is the struggles more than injury concerns?
  • Are the Memphis Grizzlies really missing Jae Crowder and Solomon Hill?
  • Is it time to worry about Dillon Brooks?
