One season ends, and another one is beginning...well, resuming.

The G-League will not return to finish the 2019-20 season, while the NBA is going to return in July. For this week’s podcasts, we have two awesome guests to talk about the Memphis Hustle and the brewing rivalry between the Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans.

Core 4: Recapping the Memphis Hustle’s Strong Season

Unfortunately, the Memphis Hustle’s season has been cancelled. With the end of the season, I had “Mr. Hustle” Brandon Abraham to talk about its season. In particular, we talked about the Hustle’s strong season, the Josh Jackson experience, Dusty Hannahs’ MVP campaign and his future with the team, Shaq Buchanan’s emergence. In addition, we evaluated about the two-way contracts of John Konchar and Yuta Watanabe, and who they could target if one opens up.

Core 4: The Bright Futures of the Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans

For this edition of “The Core 4,” Nathan Chester and I talk with Chris Connor of The Bird Writes — SB Nation’s New Orleans Pelicans affiliate site. We discuss the futures of and similarities between the Memphis Grizzlies and the New Orleans Pelicans. We also shed light on the brewing rivalry between the two teams, while sharing outsider perspectives on the opposing teams. Also, we talk about Brandon Ingram being underrated, and about young players the opposing fanbase should pay attention to.
