In game one, Grizz Gaming fell behind early, similar to their game three Tuesday night against Gen.g. Inconsistent defense hurt Memphis, as they kept Knicks Gaming within 10 throughout game one.
Each time the Grizz would cut it to six or seven, they would have a defensive breakdown. Not being able to comeback after being down early, they were fighting an uphill battle that they created. Memphis would end up falling in game one to Knicks Gaming by a score of 80-72.
The first quarter of game two Memphis came out playing way better defensively in this one versus game one, getting three steals within the first four minutes of action. The Grizz led by six with 30 seconds remaining in the first, but an and-one from the Knicks and a steal into a three tied the game up heading into the second quarter.
In the second quarter, the Grizz took over. Grizz Gaming Point Guard Vandi went absolutely nuts on both ends of the floor. He scored 29 first half points, getting his takeover badge in the second. Kudos to the Grizz as a team locking down the Knicks from the field in the first half. Memphis had six first-half steals, scoring on all six possessions. The Grizz took a 48-36 lead heading into the half of game two.
The second half, Memphis would push themselves out to an 18-point lead in the third quarter. Towards the end of the third quarter the Knicks would rally to cut Grizzlies lead to seven heading to the fourth.
With 31 points on the night heading to the final frame, this screamed Vandi taking over for Memphis. Scoring 12 points in the fourth, Vandi led Memphis to a huge game two victory over the Knicks, forcing a game three.
Grizz Gaming started the first quarter off rather fast. They were on top of the Knicks by as much as 14 in the first quarter, recording seven steals in the first quarter. Memphis would lead New York 25-11 after a thrilling first quarter in game three.

In the second quarter, the Knicks made a run at the Grizzlies double-digit lead, but the Knicks would need all of their timeouts to get there. After trailing the Grizzlies by 14, the Knicks would hold Memphis to 10 second quarter points, and while doing that would trim the Grizzlies lead to one heading into halftime.
Memphis would push their lead to as much as 20 in the second half. Vandi would end up having a season-high in steals (9) and came up just short of a triple-double in points, assists, and steals.
Despite missing out in those categories, it was arguably Vandi’s best performance of the season to date. On the shoulders of Vandi, and AuthenticAfr’s 27 point performance, Grizz Gaming would win the series against the Knicks with a 84-70 in game three.
