Grizz Gaming enters Tuesday night looking for their fourth straight win of the 2020 season. It won’t be an easy matchup, as the Grizz take on T-Wolves Gaming, who arelooking for their sixth straight win.

Grizz Gaming is Rolling:

Grizz Gaming continues their hot streak in week five, which was showcased by two wins within two days of each other. The Grizz won their first game of the week on Tuesday night against Celtics Crossover Gaming in three games, pushing their record to 2-4 on the season. A quick turnaround had Memphis scheduled to playing on Thursday night at 7:00 CT, an hour earlier than previously scheduled. Their opponent? Pistons Gaming Team (1-4) in a best of three series that saw all three games. After Memphis fell in game one, Memphis took off on the Pistons in the third quarter of game two. Trailing for a good portion of game two, Vandi and company took off. Winning game two, and winning game three had Memphis sitting at 3-4 on the season.

The biggest game of the season?

Tonight, Grizz Gaming will face off against the 3rd-best team in the NBA 2K League, T-Wolves Gaming. The Wolves, who are winners of their last five games, come into this game looking for their sixth straight.

Their only loss coming from the Hawks in their season opener, since then the Wolves haven’t looked back. The Wolves are shooting 58% from the field, and have only been part of one game game three this season (against Philly).

This is arguably one of the biggest games of the season for the Grizz as they sit in the middle of the 2K League standings. With this being their regular season finale, this would set Memphis up with a ton of momentum heading into tournament play.

Matchup(s) to watch tonight:

Vandi(PG) vs. BearDaBeast(PG)

AuthenticAfrican (SG) Vs. Big Saint (SG)

You can expect these two matchups to decide the game. For Memphis’ Vandi and Authentic it will be about sticking to their one-two punch. Vandi enters the final game of the season averaging 29 ppg in the 17 games Memphis has played in. For Authentic, his role is a bit of everything, causing havoc on the defensive side of the ball while being efficient on the offensive end of the floor. Authentic enters the final game of the regular season averaging 73% from the field in his 17 appearances.

For Minnesota, their backcourt tandem of Beast and Saint have been huge for the Wolves success this season. If Beast and Saint can get off on Vandi and Authentic, expect the Grizz to be in a very tough situation.
