COVID-19 has done a number in the NBA the past 2 weeks, as numerous games have been postponed due to contact training and other rules within the health and safety protocols.
Add tonight’s contest between the Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves to the list of games postponed for such reason.

The news comes at no surprise, as it had been reported that Minnesota players Ricky Rubio and Juancho Hernangomez were going to be out for tonight’s game for health and safety protocols. There have been no reports on additional players added to the “health and safety protocols” list, but the Commercial Appeal’s Evan Barnes reported (per Timberwolves PR) that Minnesota didn’t have 8 active players for tonight’s contest.
NBA makes it official. Grizzlies-Timberwolves postponed tonight. Timberwolves didn't have the league-required eight available players to play tonight due to contact tracing.

Story coming soon.
If there aren’t any additional players to the inactive list for the Memphis Grizzlies, they should be returning to action tomorrow night, as they travel back home to take on the Philadelphia 76ers. Ja Morant, who was listed as questionable for tonight’s would-be contest, could be making his return after missing the past 8 games with an ankle sprain.
